Derelict Portrane Mental Asylum, Co Dublin (Ireland)

This is one of the most challenging sites I have explored on my own. I knew security would be very high here, so I opted for a back entrance in. I spent months trying to find a way into this historical building that played such an important part in Irish history, specifically 1916. Fatal stabbing

Abandoned Pigeon House PowerStation, Dublin (Ireland) - Derelict World Photography – Lainey Quinn

Poolbeg Pigeon House Power Station, Dublin (Ireland)

The Pigeon House, more formally known as the Poolbeg plant was built in the early 1900's and was used for power generation. Out of all of the buildings I have been to, the Pigeon House was by far the hardest to find and get in. It is tucked away in the heart of a huge … Continue reading Poolbeg Pigeon House Power Station, Dublin (Ireland)
